Mr. Cummings began his Taekwondo career in 1986 in Lufkin, Texas under the instruction of Master Olford. In 1989, after 2 years of commitment, perseverance and hard work, he received his 1st degree Black Belt. He entered into the trainee program the same year and in 1990 he received his instructor certification. He has been recertified in 1994, 1997, 2000, 2004 and 2010.
He received his 2nd degree in 1990, 3rd degree in 1993, 4th degree in 1996, 5th degree in 2003, and received his current rank of 6th degree Black Belt in 2010. He was in the Top Ten in 1993, 1994, 1997 and 1998. In 2000, he was ranked in the Top Ten for Forms and Sparring, and was a Silver Medalist in Weapons. In 2001 he moved to Shawnee, Kansas. Also in 2001, he was a Bronze Medalist in both Forms and Sparring, and in 2003 he was Top Ten in Weapons. He has been the Kansas Triple Crown State Champ for the past three years.
In 2004 his was ranked #2 in country in weapons and is certified in various weapons. In 2009 he won the title of World Champion in Weapons!  He has held the position of Regional Assistant Chief of Tournaments, and currently holds the title of national judge.
Currently, Mr. Cummings is Co-Owner and Program Director at ATA Black Belt Academy in Shawnee, Kansas.

Mrs. Cummings began her Taekwondo career in 1989. She received her 1st degree Black Belt in 1991, 2nd degree in 1993, and 3rd degree in 1996. She became a certified instructor in 1994 and has been recertified in 1997,2000, 2004 and 209. She currently holds the rank of 5th degree Black Belt (tested June 2006).
Mrs. Cummings was School Manager for Master Olford in Lufkin, Texas from 1996 until 1999 where she also was Program Director, Tiny Tiger Instructor, and Tournament Coordinator.
She holds the title of National Judge and was selected as Outstanding Regional Judge in 1999, 2000, and 2001.
Mrs. Cummings was ranked in the top Ten in 1993 and 1994. She was chosen in 1999 as Instructor of the Year for region 112. In 2001 she moved to Shawnee, Kansas. In 2003 she was ranked in the Top Ten in all three divisions and was awarded Kansas Triple Crown State Champ in 2002, 03,04, 06, 07, 08 and 2009. She is also certified in single & double Ssahng Joel Bongs & Single Bahng Mahng Ee.
Currently, Mrs. Cummings is Co-Owner and Tiny Tiger Program Director and is a certified Aerobic Kickboxing Instructor at ATA Black Belt Academy in Shawnee, Kansas.
